1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the European Business API ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Dec.Ant, 60 Rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France (SIRET: 989 149 919 00015).

2. Description of Service

The Service provides REST API endpoints for European business data lookup, validation, and payment tools. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. API Usage

You must not abuse the API by sending excessive requests beyond your plan limits.
You must not use the API for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws.
You must not resell raw API access without adding significant value.
You are responsible for keeping your API key secure.

4. Rate Limits and Fair Use

Each plan has defined rate limits. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary throttling (HTTP 429). Repeated abuse may lead to account suspension.

5. Data Sources and Accuracy

The Service aggregates data from official public sources (INSEE, EU VIES, ECB, La Poste). While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free. You should verify critical data independently.

6. Pricing and Payment

Free tier usage requires no payment. Paid plans are billed through RapidAPI according to their billing terms. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and the API (documentation, source code, logos) is the property of Dec.Ant unless otherwise stated. Any reproduction without prior written authorization is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the API. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking your API key.

10. Data We Collect

When you use the API, we collect:

API usage data: IP address, endpoint called, timestamp, and API key used. This is necessary for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
Account data: If you sign up via RapidAPI, they handle your account data according to their own privacy policy.

We do not collect, store, or log the content of your API queries (e.g., the SIRET numbers or IBANs you look up).

11. How We Use Your Data

To provide and maintain the Service
To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
To generate anonymous, aggregate usage statistics

12. Data Retention and Sharing

API usage logs (IP, endpoint, timestamp) are retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted. We do not retain query parameters or response content.

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties, except when required by law or with RapidAPI for billing purposes.

13. Cookies

The API and this website do not use tracking cookies or analytics.

14. GDPR

If you are in the EU, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.

15. Security

API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

16. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
